Cavalier Homes is a successful home builder franchise with more than 30 franchisees in its network, which is growing all the time. In August 2020, it became clear to Cavalier Homes’ senior management that to keep up their momentum during the COVID-19 pandemic and set themselves up for ongoing success, they needed to rethink their branding and messaging.
Why Cavalier Homes chose Wildlime
Having worked with their previous agency for many years, it was time for new ideas and a fresh approach. A large part of this refresh included softening the brand to appeal to a broader audience and activation across the website, social media, and TVC advertising to ensure the new messaging was heard far and wide.

Challenges they faced
- Continue to grow the brand during COVID-19 and beyond. 2020 was a challenging year at the best of times. However, the residential construction industry didn’t slow down. It kept growing! The challenge here was maintaining that momentum and keeping it going as we navigated our way towards COVID-normal.
- Develop a brand that spoke to a broader, more feminine audience. Cavalier Homes wanted to appeal to a wider audience, including families. Women are often key decision-makers when it comes to the family home, so it made sense to have a brand that would speak to them.
- Update the website to be mobile-friendly. A fast-loading, responsive website that’s easy to manage is one of the most essential marketing and sales tools for any company. Cavalier Homes needed a website that worked well for customers but also for franchisee management and updating.
What Wildlime did
The Wildlime team worked closely with Cavalier Homes’ management to develop a comprehensive brand strategy and activation plan. WIldlime was hands-on throughout the entire process, from overarching brand look and feel to redesigning existing printed sales and marketing collateral to website development, TVC organisation and developing a library of more than 800 custom images to use. The new brand elements came together with the new tagline, “Everday lives here,” delivering longevity with the messaging and incorporating it into every new brand element.
An ongoing relationship with a strong foundation
Fourteen months from the initial engagement, the Cavalier Homes x Wildlime story is still going strong. Since August 2020, Cavalier Homes has grown from 14 franchises to 26 franchises.
